76ers force Game 7 against Hawks
Embiid, Curry lead the way in Game 6 win
The Philadelphia 76ers held off the Atlanta Hawks 104-99 in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series on Thursday night, forcing a Game 7 on Saturday.
Joel Embiid led the way for the 76ers with 24 points and 18 rebounds, while Seth Curry added 21 points. James Harden had 16 points and 9 assists, and Tyrese Maxey added 15 points.
The Hawks were led by Trae Young, who had 24 points and 9 assists. Dejounte Murray added 20 points, and Clint Capela had 14 points and 17 rebounds.
The 76ers never trailed in the game, but the Hawks made a late push in the fourth quarter. They cut the lead to three points with less than three minutes to play, but the 76ers held on for the win.
Game 7 will be played in Philadelphia on Saturday night.
