Former Arsenal Winger Comes Back To Haunt Pochettinos Side

Tottenham Hotspur 2-7 Bayern Munich: Serge Gnabry scores four as holders thrash Spurs

Former Arsenal winger comes back to haunt Pochettino's side

Bayern's biggest ever away win in the Champions League group stages

Serge Gnabry scored four as Bayern Munich hit seven past Tottenham in a stunning Champions League demolition at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The former Arsenal winger came back to haunt Mauricio Pochettino's side as the holders ran riot in north London, scoring five goals in a devastating 30-minute spell either side of half-time.

Joshua Kimmich gave Bayern the lead with a superb strike from outside the box, before Robert Lewandowski made it 2-1 on the stroke of half-time after Son Heung-min had equalised for Spurs.

Gnabry then took over after the break, scoring four times in 25 minutes to put the game beyond Spurs, who pulled one back through Harry Kane's penalty.

Lewandowski added a seventh in the closing stages to complete the rout and leave Spurs with a mountain to climb in the group.
